One of the best Cozumel fishing trips of my life

Fishing is my passion! What's Yours?

One of the best fishing experiences I ever had was a trip to Cozumel with my college friend. It was one of the most memorable trips for a lot of reasons, mainly because we caught a variety of fish species in the reef. Cozumel is a beautiful island in the Caribbean Sea and well-known for its fishing spots. Until 1961, the island was a little fishing community and then declared as the most stunning scuba diving area. Since that time, it has become a popular underwater marine park that protects the delicate balance of tropical fish and dazzling coral reefs.

Wow! Superb variety of species

The weather condition of the island was perfect to catch Dolphin, Wahoo, Tuna, Marlin and Sailfish. Planning such a fantastic Cozumel Fishing trip was not at all our top agenda because planning does not suit our personality. It was just by chance that a friend of mine disclosed about Fishing Reservation Central, a booking company for charters, and I followed him. The boat we had was Maria Guadalupe -Boston Whaler with 6 fishing rods on board. It also included water, soda, small snack and beer, and we paid $450 USD for 6 hour trip.

The water was swift and clear and perfect for flats, deep sea and bottom fishing. It turned out to be the most delightful and memorable trip I could dream of. I would like to thank Fishing Reservation Central for making our unplanned tour, such as exciting and enjoyable trip. They also told us about Isla Mujeres fishing, another beautiful location to live your passion. Hopefully, this time we will plan our trip to make it more exciting.
